On Tuesday 2 June 2026 the Fair Work Commission (FWC) announced an increase of 4.75% to the modern award wage rates, effective from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026. The National Minimum Wage (NMW) will be increased to $1,004.90 per week, or $26.44 per hour. This will also take effect from the first full pay period on or after 1 July 2026. Members were emailed a follow up summary of the Decision on 3 June.
