23 Feb New Workplace Health & Safety Regs 2012
New WHS regulations for NSW came into effect on 1 January 2012. Indeed, five out of nine jurisdictions (Commonwealth, NSW, Queensland, Northern Territory and ACT) have implemented the new legislation. The maximum penalties which can be imposed for breach of the regulations are now $6,000 for an individual and $30,000 for a body corporate.
